IML have been around for some time but are still not commonly used. They are mainly used for the production of packaging for ice-cream or fish products. These types of packaging face extreme demands due to the environment that they are found in.
The IML label is made of polypropylene film and then embossed into the packaging during the packaging production process. Because the label is thermally joined to the packaging, it becomes an integral part, meaning that it is resistant to mechanical damage or the action of external factors which have a damaging effect on standard labels. The production of IMLs is very complex and requires specialised and highly standardised manufacturing conditions, which is why it is still not universally used. But it is an ideal solution where extreme resistance is required. Because we have a correctly outfitted machine park, we are able to offer IML of the highest HD FLEXO quality.

Available printing and decorating techniques:

  1. HD FLEXO printing

We implement 100% inspection when printing, giving us a guarantee that every label meets the customer’s expectations.
