A hallmark of the food industry is its high degree of automation in production; it is the largest consumer of self-adhesive labels on rolls among all branches of industry. The variety of production processes and the length and conditions of storage of food products pose extremely high demands on labels, which need to be a custom-configured solution for each environment. The food industry also poses exceptional demands in terms of the safety of labels which come into direct contact with the product, which is why only the use of carefully selected and certified materials of the highest quality and appropriate production technologies for self-adhesive labels can guarantee their correct use. Self-adhesive labels should only be made of tested and certified materials, ones which do not contain heavy metals, which are approved for contact with food items, and which comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practice (GHP).

Labels made on semi-gloss or gloss paper using acrylic adhesives are a solution which combines economy with enormous print and decoration possibilities. Adhesives ensure good adhesion to most smooth and dry surfaces. We provide CMYK and PANTONE colour scale printing in up to 10-colour print as a standard or more if required using HD FLEXO UV and screen printing technologies. We use a Computer to Plate pre-press with a line count of 200-250 lines per inch to guarantee the highest print quality, and UV varnish or laminate finishing to ensure the durability of the product throughout its lifespan.
